What is First Fruits?

First Fruits is our way at Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church to give back to those in need the first of all the gifts given to us. That means the first dollars we receive as donations are designated for others. These first fruits are given to organizations we hold close to hearts, including the Christian Pre-School, Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry, Midnight Run, and others. We will grow this page to help you learn more about each of these organizations.

While the first donation dollars we receive go automatically to organizations we support, we find other ways to help too. Here's how we are growing our mission to help others:

Food Drive to Support the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry

While we prepare for the Big Game, let's not forget those in need. We are collecting non perishable food items for help support the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry. Please drop off non perishable food items, monetary donations, or Stop & Shop gift cards to the church by Feb 13. These will be taken to the food pantry to help support our neighbors in need.
